Butokuden godogeiko

For the past maybe five years or so, at the start of April every year, I’ve been attending a large godo-geiko session at the famed Butokuden in Kyoto. I think last year was the first time I wrote a small article and shared info on the event. I don’t really have much to add on last years article (except for the fact that there were too many random people attending so they decided to make it a more closed affair this year), so let me simply move swiftly on to sharing a small gallery of pics from the session…

To reiterate what I said last year – Kyoto Kendo Association hosts open sessions at the Butokuden all year round, so if you do come to the Kansai area, I strongly suggest you take the opportunity to keiko there.

A rare pic of yours truly taken at the event
